Irving, Texas - January 16, 2007 - Janet Levy has joined The Expo Group as Vice President, National Sales. After 18 years in the industry, Levy made the change to The Expo Group because she is inspired by the company's vision. "I believe The Expo Group offers customer service that surpasses our competitors' abilities, and I am excited to spread the word and be a part of the growing team," she says. Levy joins the company from GES Exposition Services, where she was a Senior Sales Manager. She will remain in Southern California as The Expo Group's West Coast specialist. Levy is known for looking out for the best interests of her customers and will be a perfect fit with The Expo Group's service-oriented business model. "Janet is a good listener - an essential skill in providing clients the service they deserve," says President and CEO Ray Pekowski. "We are glad to have Janet Levy become a part of our expanding sales team. She is detail-oriented, tenacious and creative. Building strong relationships is the key to success in this industry, and Janet has proven herself capable of that." Levy is a member of PCMA, MPI and IAEE. She has held various board positions with the PCMA Southwest & Pacific Chapter over the past eight years and currently serves on the Board of Directors as a Supplier Director. Levy attended California State University in Northridge, CA, with a major in Television/Film/Communications. She spent 10 years in the television business as a Production Coordinator for such companies as Dick Clark Productions, Universal Studios and Paramount. In addition, Janet worked for an event company setting up large special events. The Expo Group is a general service contractor providing a patented Single Source SolutionR for exhibitors' need. The Dallas-based company has sales offices in Washington D.C. and San Jose, Calif., and a distribution center in Las Vegas.
