Randy Pekowski promoted to
Chief Operating Officer

Irving, Texas - Aug. 23, 2006 - Randall J. Pekowski has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO) of The Expo Group effective immediately. He will directly oversee all operational aspects of the company, including the core general contracting business and the exhibit design house division.

"This is a great opportunity for Randy as an officer, and for the company to grow under his leadership," says Ray Pekowski, founder, president and CEO. "Randy's skills are ideally suited to this position."

Randy has served as vice president of the company for two years and Director of Information Services for eight. He has been in the tradeshow industry for more than 10 years, having begun his career in financial services for The Expo Group before moving to the operations, customer service, sales and project management departments. Randy has continued his client relationships and will remain sales executive for several major clients.

"My education and the experiences gained though my tenure at the company have afforded me this tremendous opportunity to carry our company vision into the next generation," Randy Pekowski says. Just prior to becoming COO, Randy was named one of the top 40 rising stars under 40 years old in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex as selected by the Dallas Business Journal.

Randy, age 35, is an inventor-of-record for The Expo Group's Automated Convention Processing System and Method (CoPro) -- the patented business process that enables the company to deliver its renowned Single SourceR service.

Randy is a member of ASAE, IAEM, EACA, ESCA and PCMA. A business management graduate of Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, Randy is married with two sons.

The Expo Group is a general service contractor providing a patented Single Source SolutionR for exhibitors' need. The Dallas-based company has sales offices in Washington D.C. and San Jose, Calif., and a distribution center in Las Vegas.
