- The Expo Group (TEG)
has announced the 3rd Annual Show Manager of The Yearsm awards program.
TEG is currently seeking nominations for show managers who exhibit
creative marketing, innovative show management, incorporation of
new technology and a willingness to overcome traditional obstacles.
This program has been highly successful in rewarding those in the
tradeshow industry that reflect these winning traits.
Ray Pekowski, TEG president and CEO who created the Show Manager
of the Year program to recognize the "unsung heroes" of the tradeshow
industry states, "We're proud to continue this great program for
the third consecutive year to celebrate excellence in our industry
regardless of the size of the show".
Visitors to The Expo Group can make their nominations online or
download an application form. Multiple nominations as well as self-nominations
will be accepted through September 13, 2002.
On October 18, 2002, an independent panel of industry professionals
will select and announce five winners from five separate categories.
The winners will be recognized at an Awards Ceremony on December
11, 2002, in Orlando, FL, where they will enjoy fine dining in a
gala event. The Expo Group will also give $1,000 in each winner's
name to the educational institute or charity of their choice.
